But I want to concentrate on the positive. I have built and added a narrow shelf above
my desk that stores small items so the desk is left uncluttered.
We celebrated our daughter's birthday here at Club 55 on Tuesday
night with nearly all our family members.
Barbara enjoyed three weeks in the US visiting family and friends. As her Mom is now 86, Barbara wants to see her as much as possible. All being well, she will travel again later this year, maybe while I am in Uganda in November. We are fortunate to be able to do these things.
The BezCan Project
continues to provide support to Canaan Junior and Bezallel Preparatory Primary
School. We have reached a good working
relationship with Canaan Junior School which has led to us supporting them in
buying their own land to build their own school and sponsoring ten needy
children at their school. I am aiming to
issue a newsletter this month giving you the opportunity to contribute to this
and other projects.
My personal highlight of recent times occurred last night when
the Australian Institute of
Company Directors presented me with a Certificate of Appreciation for my 20
years of working with them. Three of my children were with me at this very special occasion.
The certificate reads: ‘In recognition and appreciation of your
commitment as a facilitator, writer, author, reviewer and adviser to the Australian
Institute of Company Directors for the past 20 years’ and signed by the Chief Executive Officer. (Photos provided by Company Directors)

Afterward our family wandered around Circular Quay looking at the Vivid
sound and light show displays. We
enjoyed a late dinner.
